Frequently Asked Questions
- Q. What is HIPAA?
- A. HIPAA stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Please visit the HIPAA Page for more information.
- Q. How soon can I get an appointment?
- A. For urgent situations, we can usually see you the same day as a "walk-in" patient. For non-urgent situations, we try to see you in a timely manner.
- Q. How long will my appointment take?
- A. Appointment times vary. If you are a new patient, it may take you 15 to 30 minutes to review and fill out our forms. Therefore, we recommend that you either print copies, read, and fill out these forms prior to your appointment, or arrive early enough to allow yourself time to read and fill them out the day of your appointment. New patients may spend up to 30 minutes in the consultation room while follow-up patients may spend as little as 10 minutes.
